As experienced SW designer I'm used to data handling in JSON, XML and CSV formats. Programming with databases and APIs are common tasks for me. Since 2011 I operate own Linux servers and n8n is part of my setup since 2025. In the AI area I used n8n for a Telegram AI agent with access to Google cloud data and for Retrieval Augmented Generation where n8n built the data chunks, generated vectors by calling an OpenAI embedding model, and stored them in a vector data base.
